Dr. Sonja Stojicic is an experienced general dentist with advanced training in Endodontics and Restorative dentistry. She is passionate about providing personalized, high-quality dental care and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in 2004. She then completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree and specialty training in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, earning her specialist designation from the same university. After relocating to Vancouver, she continued her academic journey by completing a PhD in Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment) in 2013. Since then, she has been practicing general dentistry, combining her extensive academic background with a gentle, detail-oriented, and patient-centered approach.
Dr. Stojicic enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes in building lasting relationships with her patients based on trust, compassion, and open communication. Her clinical interests include root canal therapy, Invisalign®, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. She enjoys helping patients restore the health, function, and beauty of their smiles while creating personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. She is committed to lifelong learning and continually expands her knowledge through continuing education to provide the highest standard of care using the latest techniques and technology.
Outside the office, Dr. Stojicic enjoys leading an active lifestyle. She runs 10 kilometres twice a week and is currently training for her first half marathon. She also loves dancing salsa and other Latin dances, exploring local hiking trails, and spending time in the kitchen baking, especially her signature tiramisu, which is a favourite among family and friends. Above all, she treasures spending quality time with her twin boys, whether swimming, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying other active family adventures together.
Dr. Stojicic is dedicated to making every dental visit a positive experience. She looks forward to welcoming patients of all ages and helping them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.
