Extractions & Oral Surgery
Wherever possible we focus on preserving natural teeth. When a tooth cannot be restored, extraction may be the best option for your oral health, including simple and surgical extractions, wisdom tooth evaluation, and planning for tooth replacement.

Patients with a tooth that cannot be saved, impacted or symptomatic wisdom teeth, or a tooth needing removal before replacement.
In our patients' words.
Dr. Sonja is friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable! Beside being a great dentist, she is a very good businesswoman too. She is managing hers and your time very well. Gentle touch for freezing is much appreciated. Excellent dentist and very friendly staff.
Dr. Sonja is simply amazing . Very kind and patient. I would highly recommend her .
About extractions.
The area is fully numbed, so an extraction is pressure rather than pain. Oral sedation and nitrous oxide are available if the anticipation is the harder part, which for many people it is.
Not automatically. Wisdom teeth that are healthy, cleanable and not causing trouble can usually be left alone and monitored. We evaluate them, including with 3D imaging where the roots sit close to the nerve, rather than removing them as a matter of routine.
That is part of the same conversation, not a separate one. We plan tooth replacement options, whether an implant, a bridge or a denture, before the extraction wherever the situation allows it.
Other treatments you might need.
Book an extraction assessment
Book an assessment, and we will tell you honestly whether the tooth can still be saved.
